WARNING! Before you dig into this case study there are a few things you need to bare in mind …

I created this case study back in December 2006. Since then — a lot of things have changed. Google AdWords has moved on. (New features, new rules — the dreaded Quality Score has evolved.)

There are now automated keyword level tracking tools for affiliates which didn't exist in 2006. (I teach you the "manual" way in this case study — which is still a valid free method today.)

The keyword research landscape has changed — almost completely too.

But I wanted to keep this case study unchanged and unedited as much as possible. I've therefore updated the content to be as up to date as possible — without interfering with all the original image screen shots.

But know this — the BIG PICTURE that is demonstrated within this case study is still 100% valid. Make no mistake — if you follow the fundamentals of the case study — you can generate a "day job killing" income. Easily upwards of $200 per day in a relatively quick timeframe.

It's still a great guide for marketers new to affiliate marketing — more than enough to get your feet wet … very wet.

Firstly — I just want to give special thanks to my buddy Dave Tropeano for his invaluable contribution to this case study.

There are a lot of good [affiliate marketing ebooks->get-reloaded] out there. What there isn't a lot of step-by-step tutorials that show how a business is made from the ground up. Yet, most people new or frustrated with how to actually make money online are crying out for just this form of "case study."

What you hold in your hands (or are reading on the screen) is a free affiliate marketing guide showing you the steps that you need to take to build an online business — all revealed in this case study.

I documented most of the thought processes — the successes and the bumps I encountered along the way.

Here's the important part — this is real. It's not a magic bullet and it isn't the only way to do something — but it's real.

There are lots of ways to make money online:

  • eBay store
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Ecommerce store
  • AdSense and contextual ad services
  • Etc…

This case study aimed to keeps it simple and shows you how to take advantage of ClickBank — the largest online information marketplace there is.

Here's the thing, I'm not going to show you how to market "how to make money" products on ClickBank. And I'm not going to talk about product creation.

This is about affiliate niche marketing using ClickBank as our product source. The lessons learned here can be applied to almost ANY form of niche marketing — both hard goods and information products.

One final thing …

More than 95% of you will skim through this case study in 5-10 minutes and then do nothing with the material. Half of that 95% will say it's "too hard" or "doesn't work for me" or something like that …

Here's a little piece of advice: You get nowhere by sitting on your ass! Take Action! Follow along. Duplicate what I'm doing here — in your own niche. Test the system out. That's the only way you'll be successful.
